I have always been drawn to the “how.” How things work, how people think, how small actions lead to big change. That curiosity, paired with a deep love for structure and people, has shaped every chapter of my career and ultimately led me to launch Considerably Bold.

I began my journey in the pet care industry more than a decade ago, working my way up from entry-level roles to becoming the Vice President of Operations at Pinnacle Pets Play & Stay, a luxury pet resort in Grove City, Ohio. During my time there, I helped transform a passion-driven business into a high-functioning operation with strong systems, a healthy team culture, and a loyal client base. I led the development of our training programs, redefined customer service standards, created detailed operational guides, and implemented strategies that improved both revenue and employee satisfaction.

But my true passion lives in the space where most people feel stuck—that space where small businesses hit walls, teams struggle, and leaders are left unsure of what to do next. I saw how often small business owners, especially in under-resourced industries like pet care, were expected to figure things out on their own. That realization is what inspired Considerably Bold.

Today, I work with business owners who want to improve their systems, build stronger teams, and feel more confident in how they run their business. My consulting style is direct, clear, and rooted in lived experience. I am not coming in from a corporate tower—I have stood in your shoes, asked the same questions, and now help others find practical, lasting solutions.

Along the way, I have had the privilege to speak across the country at events focused on leadership, operations, and industry growth. My presentations at the Barkleigh Pet Boarding and Daycare Expos in Las Vegas and Hershey covered topics like foundational business structure and empowering staff to think independently. I have also spoken at the International Boarding and Pet Services Association Conference, the WeLead Leadership Forum, the Ohio Hotel and Lodging Association’s Women in Lodging Luncheon, and several local events hosted by Rotary Clubs and Chambers of Commerce.

These experiences have connected me with hundreds of professionals who are all trying to answer the same questions. How do I build a business that works better? How do I reduce stress without losing quality? How do I move from burnout to stability?

In my community, I serve as the Public Image Chair for the Grove City Rotary Club, where I help tell the story of Rotary’s impact both locally and globally. I also founded and currently lead Emerging Professionals, a group under the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce that supports early-career leaders through networking, professional development, and community service.

I have shared my experiences on podcasts like Overdog Digital, where I discussed the importance of structure, the psychology of teams, and how to lead through clarity instead of chaos. Every conversation reminds me that the people behind small businesses are some of the most driven and creative people out there—they just need the right tools, the right mindset, and a little support along the way.

What I know for sure is that you do not have to choose between passion and performance. You can create something meaningful and something that runs smoothly. You can be both a learner and a leader. And you can build a business that supports your life instead of consuming it.
